When I got there in April, 1977, with Harber and Mcardle we were shipped right out to the field where the 7th Platoon was in the middle of an inspection. What a great time that was! Looking forward to the reunion. Have great pictures of Francois, Hockenheim Raceway, etc. Will drink a few in memory of Mcardle (Mac), Purvis and all others no longer with us.

I don't who sent in the picture of the
"Awesome 7th Proud and Rowdy", but I have
the orginal picture, I think either Russell or Gene Henshaw has the sign, it sure did bring some memories seeing that picture, I bet LT Kincad would just love to go back up on the hill just to smell the fresh air. Drop me line if you get a chance, that goes for all of you. Big Gene

Peter Endy Wednesday, April 9, 2003 03:37 PM
That was me. But I think I got the picture from you, Gene, or maybe from Scott Sutherland, or maybe from Larry Dinnell, or maybe from...Well, several people have sent me that picture.

Anybody remember this guy?

Myron Brubaker Monday, April 14, 2003 10:13 AM
Is this Gary Bogart? I knew him at 275th in Ludwigsburg.

Rick Tuesday, April 15, 2003 07:41 AM
Yea it's him! He's still around, living in Ohio.

Peter Tuesday, April 15, 2003 08:03 AM
Get him signed up, Rick!

Gary Bogard was my plt sgt when I first got to Herborn. We transitioned from fatigues to BDUs while I was there; I think he was an E-7 at the time.

Its great to see this webpage- brings back great memories. I was in First Platoon from May of 1977 to January 1982. Who can forget those great days and those great comrades? Remember those lousy bands at Frenchies? Or that schnell imbiss across the street run by that grumpy old German guy? Or the legendary Lamboy Annie? How about those runs to Pioneer Kaserne and back? Cheers to the First Platoon!

I never expected to see a picture of the whole team in one spot. I spent my entire tour as team chief of Battalin Bravo, 1st Platoon. With fellow team chiefs SSG Jake Moore,SSG Ed Husbands, and SSG John Lynch. The best team in ADM History in this picture. Miss you guys.

I arrived in Hanau Feb 76 and left Sept 1978. Started out in 5th Platoon with SFC Shillard, then 7th with "The Boss" SFC Charlie Purvis and finished with "Big Bird" in the 3rd Herd with SFC Gene Ariel. This is great, Mike Tuck how are you doing we had your last party at my apartment just before you left. I am looking forward to this reunion and meeting up with some good friends. I retired in 1995 and moved into the Albany, NY area.

Mike Tuck Thursday, April 17, 2003 03:13 PM
Frank,
I still have my half of the dollar we split before I left.

I was a member of the 275th En. Co. (ADM), in Ludwigsburg and was hoping to reestablish contact wtih other ADM'ers.

I was not in the 567th, but was in HHD 557. We were in Herborn-Seelbach. Shortly after I arrived there in April 1984 I roomed with Bobby Tedder. We used to keep our fridge full of soda by beating everyone else at Darts. I then went to the 66th @ Ft. Hood in 1984. I spent most of my time there playing softball. I rommed with Marty Isaac and would like to get in touch with him as well as a bunch of other great guys. I hope some of them hear about this and register. Looking forward to some kind of reunion.

Jim Britt Monday, May 12, 2003 01:46 PM
Hi. I knew Bobby Tedder when I was with the 567th in '78-'79. Back then, he met and started dating Marian (the fraulein). We always expected he'd marry her and settle over there. Not sure what ended up happening. Anyway, I sent in a picture of Bobby to be posted on the Photo Album. Bobby: If you're out there, I hope it all ended up great for you.

Arrived at the 567th in April '75. Assigned to SSG "Cookie Monster" Husbands A Team, 7th Plt. Later spent time in the 4th and 3rd Plts. Even a few weeks in HHC as a documents clerk in the basement. Back to the "world" in April '78. I've spent most of the last 25 years in construction.

Charlie McGurk Wednesday, October 29, 2003 04:57 PM
Mike, you remember Scraggs? What happened to him? The Germans haven't left, so he probably hasn't either.

eek! First guestbook entry.
I got to the 567th in May of 1976, and was assigned to the 7th platoon. Ray Flowers was my team chief at that time. Later that 7th platoon was busted up, and I was assigned to the 4th platoon with Ron Schutz as my team chief.
I have a lot of fond memories from the days in Hanau. Like J. Giles sings, good times last forever, and bad times fade away.

Bill Rettke Wednesday, April 2, 2003 06:59 PM
Yes Peter, I remember when you showed up. I had been there a year by then and we became friends right away. I remember some great memories of going to the river behind Pioneer and hanging out at the Bates apartment.

Bubba Harrell Sunday, November 23, 2003 02:25 PM
Hey Pete,

I remember Ray Flowers being a team chief at the 557th in Herborn around 1982-83.
